David-Muir
David Muir is an American anchor and journalist popular for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for the ABC News magazine 20/20, for which he serves as anchorman and co-anchor. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures have made it the most watched American newscast. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's main replacement anchor before he took over ABC World News Tonight. He covered a number of evening ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. His travels took him to the far places on earth and include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and much more. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to distinctions from the Associated Press.
