David Muir, an American journalist from the United States who anchors ABC News magazine 20 years old, is best known for his role as co-anchor on World News Tonight With David Muir. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures have made it the most seen newscast in America. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's anchor of choice prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight. In the past he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has reported on news across the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has been awarded numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Honors and Awards from Associated Press.
