Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. Also, she was recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the team who wrote the movie Immortals. In addition, she is filming an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
